"I have been part of the No Community Left Behind Project for a year now. We had the unique opportunity to work on both the outreach aspect of community policing as well as the enforcement. We have been able to see a huge difference in the community, particularly in Ledbury Banff community [from] where we would approach and people would go inside their homes, not want to talk to the police officers to where children are running up in the street, welcoming us, calling us by name, as well as community members coming and discussing topics without any fear of retaliation. This project shows us that social mobilisation works when you bring all your social partners together."
