Job 1
Title: Data collection and data base development
Number of weeks: 13 weeks
Hourly wage rate: $12

Location of Job: CBET – 365 Stone way Dr.
Description: – Develop annual strategic plan and budget for CBET programs, implement the plan and report on its progress to the CBET board of directors – Plan and administer regular programming and special events for CBET. Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of CBET to maintain or improve quality – Ensure that the programs and services offered by CBET contribute to CBET’s mission and reflect the priorities of the Board – Engage with partner organizations, funders and donors. Research, develop and prepare funding applications to provincial, federal, foundation and individual funders. – Expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and their expansion – Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization’s community profile
Job 2
Title: Youth engagement and events coordinator
Number of weeks: 9 weeks
Hourly wage rate: $12
Hours per week: 40 hrs
Anticipated start date: 20 June 2016
Location of Job: CBET – 365 Stone way Dr.
Description: Assist in carrying out existing youth events; plan next year’s youth events; identify opportunities for new events and fundraising activities to fund CBET’s activities; gather information and resources to carry out the events; serve as liaison with vendors on event related matters. Manage event details such as coordination of volunteers, resources and scheduling, assisting with space bookings, AV equipment set-up, event signs, and food and beverage orders. Assist with event set-up and wrap-up, in particular annual summer events organized by CBET.
All jobs are open only to someone who:
- is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
- was registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
- intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
- is a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), vocational or technical program;
- is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and
Refugee Protection Act* and;
- is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations
*Foreign students are not eligible.
